SchoolAdvisor is an online platform changing the way schools procure. Having top-rated school suppliers listed on our platform is vital to achieving this. And so… We are looking for someone that can help us grow our base of suppliers and, more importantly, grow as our business grows.

What we expect from you and what you can expect
We are looking for a sales and relationship consultant who is comfortable with selling and building long-term relationships with school suppliers.
Your core focus is to find new, reputable suppliers and getting them to list their businesses on SchoolAdvisor. This will entail contacting our active schools to ask them to recommend their top suppliers or by using digital tools to get businesses to list on our platform (think SEO, Google Adwords, Mailchimp etc). You will also work with our current suppliers to help them get more value from their listing.
The majority of your time will be spent at our offices (Stellenbosch) but you will also have face-to-face meetings with school and school suppliers from time to time. We are also set up to to employ remotely, as in you can work from anywhere in the country (or same time zone).
What our ideal person looks like
Someone with sales experience or experience from working with or within schools. Even though it is a entry to middle weight position, we are looking for someone with the potential to grow a team around them. We are open to interviewing exceptional graduates and highly dynamic parents that want to work 8am – 2pm so as to have flexibility in the afternoons.
Having experience with SEO, Google Adwords, Social Media Advertising, and Lead Generation Platforms (we use Intercom) would be advantageous.
Our team is a small group of committed individuals, changing the way schools think and do procurement. We are, therefore, looking for someone that wants to build the business, work with a team, and get stuck in.
