Q: How much has Bidvest Waltons paid back to schools?
A: We have given back more than R70 million in the past 19 years of being in the Back2School business. In the most recent years, it is in the region of R4,5 million per season.
Q: How does a school get money back and when?
A: Bidvest Waltons contributes a percentage of the sales generated through the Back2School orders to the participating school. This is Bidvest Waltons’ way of thanking the school for communicating with parents, and collecting and distributing the orders.
All schools are paid out at the end of each trading year, i.e. 31st March of the new year.
As a MySchool partner, Bidvest Waltons also contributes a percentage of sales towards your selected school or charitable organizations, when purchasing at any of our retail stores.
Q: What services/products do schools get money back on?
A: Schools will receive money for any purchase made through our Back2School departments. School orders can range from our catalogue ordering, online purchasing, pre-packed orders or school bulk orders.
Our comprehensive range of stock includes stationery, computers, printers, supplies and filing, as well as furniture and a range of catering & hygiene products. We also help schools cater for bulk stationery needs, supplying anything from stationery or whiteboards to notebooks and art supplies.
Our wide range of stock is available from our Back2School departments, our online shop, or from over 75 branches located across South Africa.

A: The school simply needs to contact our regional Back2School offices and one of our consultants will take them through the process.
